You can buy an excellent aftermarket Remington trigger or adjust the one you already have to 2 -2.5 lbs that breaks like glass.

Mike I would have to shoot your 280 upside down so that the bolt would be on the proper side :mrgreen:.
As far as Remington triggers I have used 3 of them including the Xpro and I have switched them all to Timney :wink:.
