30-06 OAL Issue

I was really taking my time and there were a lot of guys on the range today with many "cold" range calls. With temp outside and slow shooting barrel was never hot... Now my .300WSM...she got a little hot.

What bullet are you using? 165's I assume. A little tweaking of the seater stem and you should be able to bring that 57 load right on in.

I'm thinking if you seat those bullets out further it'll shoot even better! But that ain't bad. I never crimp for bolt action, can't remember what you said about that. I let the magazine dictate how long my loads are. Haven't run into the lands yet. Good shooting!

Shooting 150's. I shoot 165's in my WSM. Going to lengthen them to 3.32. Once I get the Vortex Viper PST 6x24 purchased and turret built, the .06 will inherite a 3.5x10-50mm Leupold VX-L
