Has anyone here ever loaded 180gr. AccuBonds in a .338 Win Mag using Hodgdon's H-4895 powder and if you have what charges are you using and are you getting decent velocity and groups? I just loaded some using 62 to 67 grains but have yet to try them. I cannot find any loading data on this combination anyplace I've looked. Any info would be appreciated.

Seems a little too fast of a powder to me to get great results. Have you tried Hodgdon's website?

Hodgdon only lists the Barnes bullet in 185gr. And they are using 58.5 grains of powder. For some reason not too many powder compiains have any listings for AB's???

lkbenson,

try H4350 or IMR4350 with the 180 gr bullets in your 338 WM.
You might also want to consider the 200 gr BT or AB. It will give you more down range energy and handle anything from deer to elk.
