200 gr X went in on a strong frontal quartering angle and found under opposite hide in the rump.

250 gr X went in behind ribs and recovered in off-side neck meat.

200 TTSX for length comparison.

Frontal view from above of expanded 200 and 250 gr X bullets. Expanded diameter is .75" on the nose, can't tell the bullets apart from the frontal view. Note twist of the petals seen in side view, shows how bullet spin exerts force while expanding and penetrating. Cool!

I have taken 2 elk with the 200 TTSX, however all were complete pass throughs from less than hard angles.

Fine performance from an old bullet. I used a ton of them in years past. I even have a few boxes left lingering on my shelves.

Those are awesome recoveries. I've got one 225TSX from my Whelen and a black bear. They work real well with that large HP. Those 200 TTSXs sound vicious. Might need to try them in the Newton since Nosler won't make us a .358 Etip!

Yeah, what's up with that?

I've taken four elk with the 225 gr. TSX. Haven't recovered one yet. :( The bullet that is. The elk endedd up in the freezer. 8)
