I have absolutely no doubt their is a faster difference in the ballistics of any bullet over long range distances due to higher altitude/reduced barometric pressure. I just don't know what to say about the velocity being higher between the muzzle and a chronograph, 10-15' away. I think I'm having a hard time wrapping my brain around that one.
