6.5 Wby RPM 140 Solid Base at a MV 3084.4 fps.
Shot into water jugs at 45 yards, the bullet was recovered in the 4th jug and damaged the 5th jug. The lead core was intact.

What is different about the SB jackets, compared to BT Hunting?
 
The BT came from the SB design. Nosler took away the lead soft point and replaced it with the polycarbonate tip. The jackets are the same.

Accuracy is excellent, sub .5 MOA. I shot this late season doe last season at 150 yds with this bullet.

Look like she was losing some good amount of engine oil. Those SB are the real deal in hunting bullets.
 
I don’t understand the re- release of a bullet that expands and penetrates exactly like a current offering, is it just nostalgia?
Or are they trying to sell to the guys that are scared to use “Ballistic Tips” from the reputation of the early version maybe?
