Is a 1:9.25 fast enough for these?

I see they have a higher BC (593) than the berger vld (532), but they are .005" shorter does every company use a different BC formula?

Just checked the Berger sight and they recommended a 1:8 twist, but I have read of a few other sights that a 1:9 should do it. Can I get a few more thoughts from you guys. How big can I go with a 1:9.25 twist?

I think it would work, but ya really never know till you get them flying.

Without seeing the 105g from nosler, I cant comment on the BC. I think it would be hard to beat the VLD by that much though...

I have tried 105gr Amaxs out my 700 SPS V with the 1-9.25 twist and shot pretty good. Best load was 40.5 grains of Hybrid 100V and the 105 Amax at 2941 FPS avg and .61" three shot group.

Not yet, should be getting my rifle next week. I got 250 of thm sitting on the bench ready to b loaded. Elk season will be open tomorrow so the big guns are going into the safe for a while.
