Had the afternoon off today so I figured I might as well bust some jugs.. My favorite bullets to recover so far are the old BBC's.. Just can't push them fast enough to hurt them, at least with anything I own.
I used 80 grains of RL26 with a Speer 130 SP. That netted me about 3400+
Knowing the BBC's tend to be stickier bullets, I loaded the same charge and hoped for about 3500...
I was pretty happy when I read the Magnetospeed on that one. That is express sorta stuff right there..
Anyhow, here are the pictures and stats.
This is what I found walking up to the jugs. The bullet is actually coming out of 4, but cracked 5 hard enough to make it leak.
