Morning, just wanted to share a recent group I shot out of my 7mm Rem Mag. It's 700 action with with a Pac-Nor 24" tube. Best 100 yard group I ever shot. Wanted to see if it would maintain this accuracy out to 500+ and it's shooting this load at 1/2 MOA out to 500 yards and beyond. This is what makes up for all of the other times our loads don't meet the expectation we have.

Shooting this bullet at 3000 fps...verified with chronograph and actual bullet drop out to 1200 yards. Hitting steel at this distance is very addicting.

Nice groups guys! Those will do!

I found my 7mm Rem Mag (Rem 700 LSS) to be very accurate when I had it, with factory ammo (Federal Premium 165 gr SGK). It shot .45" and .63" groups right out of the box while zeroing the scope (Leupold VX-III 3.5-10x40), within the first 10 rounds.
Never got around to handloading for it, as I sold it 2 years later in an effort to get the new LH version of the same rifle.

Smallest group I have ever shot with a centerfire cartridge/rifle was a .190" group with a WIn Model 70 XTR in 270 Wby, with a 90 gr Sierra HP handload.

My 7MM STW (Custom LH Sako AV) is also very accurate; it has produced a 1" group at 300 yards with Federal Premium 160 gr AB ammo, and 3" groups @ 400 yards with the Federal Premium 160 gr SGK.
And my 280 Rem (LH Rem 700 XCR) will also shoot 1/2" groups with Federal Premium 140 gr AB. Looking forward to developing a handload with the 150 gr AB, which I now have on hand!

Love the 7mm's!

My experience is limited, but with my 7mmRM I get spin drift starting around 500 yards. Then it depends on my bullet as to how large a group I have at 600+ yards. But up to 400 yards my MOA measurement is consistent from 100 yards.
