I'm looking for a load for my 7MM Rem. Mag. that I can use for black bear, and deer at ranges out to 300 yards. I bought some Nosler 160gr. Accu-Bond bullets, but wonder if I made the right choice. Should I have gotten the Partition bullets, or can I load the 160gr. Accu-Bonds to fill my requirements?
Thanks,
Don

BigBlue,

WT Deer and Black Bear, even 500 lb bears, are not that hard to kill. Shot placement is key. The 160 gr AB from your 7mm Mag is more than enough for any deer or bear.
Try using RL22 and Federal GM215 magnum primers with the 160 gr AB.

You could also use IMR 4064 starting at 49grains max53grains

or

You could also use IMR 4350 starting at 56 grains max60grains

I like the powders because they are very available.

Start all your loads below and work way up to look for signs of pressure.
