Scotty a 8mm mag is not a project it's a life style change. it's the viagra of calibers. I have no doubt you will have the 300wsm shooting just fine in short order so you might as well get the 8mm while you can. Send me you password and I'll bid for ya, it's the least I can do for a friend.

I think that the price is low because the stock has quite a bit of wear and marks on it. However, that does not affect the rifle's usefulness as a hunting rifle and the 8mm Mag will certainly fo the job effectively on larger ungulates. I am not a Remington rifle person but I do like tha specs on the 8mm Mag and would buy a shooter like this if the price is right?
