My two dream Ruger #1s, a 7x57 and .35 Whelen in the "S" configuration, 26" barrels, 1 in 8.5" twist for the 7x57 and 1 in 12" for the Whelen. Alex Henry forearm of course. I'd gladly sell of just about all my rifles just to have Ruger make me those two rifles. I never have figured out why Ruger was so stingy with the "S" version AKA "The Victorian". :x I've only seen three of that model for sale anywhere and all three were in .300 Win. Mag. I bought two. The third one apparently rode very hard and put away very wet. Saw it at Cabela's in Phoenix and they wanted more that what a new one brought in that time frame. Even the bore looked bad.
