I quit chewing a couple weeks ago after about 25+ years. Now I eat sunflower seeds and chew cinnamon flavored Mint Snuff like crazy.

I'll try to get some pictures up of the gun I just finished. It should make for a good antelope thumper. I plan on shooting it a bit tomorrow to see what it's capable of.

Jim, you dint have to quit chewing tobacco, just quit chewing that awful skoal. Copenhagen is where its at my friend!

Well, I guess that doggone laminated stock Remington qualifies as a sure-enough antelope rifle now... Oddball cartridge and all...

Couldn't help myself...

Jim will get the last laugh if I return home from Wyoming without a pronghorn!

Jmad - I just saw that post of yours:

"My brother in-law used my stw last week to take two doe goats @ 653 and 683 yards. Both with a single 160 AB on the first shot. It worked pretty good as well."

Wow! Excellent long-range shooting! I'd say congrats to the hunter are in order - along with the fellow who provided the rifle & ammo. Nice shooting...

Am leaving in about two weeks for Wyoming. Pronghorn & Mule Deer tags in hand, and a Montana fishing license. Hope to drop in and see a couple of folks along the way then meet up with Steven and enjoy a good hunt.

Fotis,

Well the norma won't be done for Saturday, will be doing some shooting at distance with the 22x47 lapua and using that and the 80 grain AMAX on antelope, this will start the match bullet on game experiment. I will have Joel post pics of the results.

How in the world do you line up two does 30 yards apart and take them out with one 160 AB?? Now that's some shootin' right there!!
