Got lots goin this weekend, but tomorrow AM I plan to be on one of the local ranges shooting the 7m-08. Not totally happy with its accuracy yet as well as I need to stay in the game. Somewhat regular shooting compared to every 3 months or so makes about 1/2-3/4" group size difference for this trigger man.

I'm taking the Colt AR out this weekend to do some exterminating. I really wanted to see how the Hairy Poppers (that's what we affectionately call our varmint bullets) shoot out of it. I'll make sure and document the test.

Yup I am shooting my new 9mm

sunday or monday hopefully I can finally get the 300rum out to the range for some load work to see what it is going to like

Yep,
I plan on taking my M24 out and Tikka 06 and do some load work.

Everyone have a safe weekend.

Yep, just got my reloading stuff in for my 7mm wsm and I am going to load up some rounds and hit the range.

I will be at the range as well. I just got done resighting in my 338RUM and 375RUM due to a scope mount/ring change. I couldn't do any load developement shooting due to a rimfire competition going on at the 100M range. Tomorrow I'll be out to help set-up our sporting clays event, something I do every 2nd and 4th Sunday. I'll be back out Monday morning to start load developement shooting for the 338 & 375 RUMs.

The boy and I spent from 1030 to 1500 on the range finishing up zeroing our rifles and getting my sons rifle ready for this years hunting season. He is really shooting well with his. Very consistent and I am sure the little 95gr Partitions will work well on our North Eastern Deer. Scotty

Yep,
Planned on it and did it.... well I should say my Kid & Wife did it. I've been playing with her M-7 .260 and it's actually worked. The work on the gun / scope etc and new loads payed off. She shot a 5/8's in group with it this weekend. Good ole Accubonds !!!!! and H414.
Even got her to pull the trigger on the .300RUM now that the brake is on it  ( she did mention that it would probably be the last time too )

Hope all had a great weekend !

Thats awesome. Sounds like a good Memorial Day for all. Pulling the trigger on a 300UM is remembering our old VETS.. Feels like siting next to a 16" gun with a brake on them! Scotty

I managed to get to the range today to shoot a few of my own rifles while breaking in a rifle for the custom shop. Here is a picture of the customers rifle, a 308 Winchester built on a Borden Action for Rocky Mountain Rifles. This is a shop scope. The customer will put his own scope on it when it is delivered. The rifle shoots quite well.

I was also shooting my own Ruger Hawkeye chambered in 35 Whelen.

I was quite pleased to find a load that it seems to like.

I was also shooting a couple of my Model 94s chambered in 356.

I was quite pleased with the way each of them shoots.

I was also shooting my Featherweight chambered in 30/06. It is still in break-in, and though I am obtain 1 to 1.25 inch groups, I believe it will yield much tighter groups as I refine the loads.

Though it is not a holiday in Canada, it was my day off and I did enjoy it.
