In the most recent edition of Shooting Times, there is a article on Partition bullets. In that article is a picture of a Ballistic Tip bullet and an AccuBond (page 65). Other than the color of the tip, I can not see any differences. Can someone tell me the simple facts of how they differ?
Thanks.
coyotetrapper is correct, the AB had a bonded core while the BT does not.
You will also find that the AB has a thicker jacket than the BT in the shank area of the bullet. This area of the bullet retains its shape to help support the mushroom and drive it for deeper penetration.
