Finally able to capture some images of wildlife with the drone. I was curious how the deer would react but for the most part they ignored the buzzing flying object.

Very good resolution with the drone cameras. How far out from your transmitter can you safely fly?

Advertised as 12 miles but keeping drone in line of sight is a requirement so not realistic.
Battery life would probably limit that.
Will get a warning if connection with the controller starts to weaken. If disconnected or battery gets low it will automatically return to and land at the launch site.
Personally I haven’t gone over 1/2 mile.
Not much wide open country here but could go a lot further on open flat ground.
