Hunting partner took this nice buck with his 300WSM 200gr AccuBond @ 2890 fps. One shot through the timber @ 85 yards into the high shoulder. He snapped off his G2 on the right side making him a 7x3. Very heavy bodied

Great buck! Congratulations to your compadre. I'm finding that my 300 WSM likes 200 grain pills as good or better than 180 grain bullets. Yet, that should do the trick.

Beautiful buck and a helluva load in that 300 WSM!! Talk about a hammer.

His rifle is a Fierce Titanium, has a longer 25" tube and a mag box that enables me to load out to 2.92" OAL which helps free up a bit more room for powder. 67.5grs of RL26 is the load we settled on. Had it up to 70.0grs / 2975 fps but the odd shell extracted with a hint of stickyness.
