I just wouldn't know where to start in finding them.
Some lathes require complete gear changes to thread metric too. So it's a PITA to switch from standard to metric unless your doing multiples. My lathe has a separate gear set to switch over and I contemplated it once for something I was going to do and then I came to me senses.
