Charlie Kirk Shot in Utah Campus

The kid is a patsy. This was an orchestrated professional team event and carried down from the top. Take what the government and authorities say with half a grain of salt. Don't trust them as far as I can throw them. So many things just don't add up. If you expect me to believe a dum ass 20 year old kid carried all this out by himself, you have bigger problems. He doesn't have the ability nor resources to pull it off in today's digital age of tracking EVERYTHING we do. Change my mind!

I believe it is likely that the event could be orchestrated from higher up, but is it really difficult to pull this off? I haven't looked into any specifics for this event, but when I have seen other high profile people labeled controversial going from place to place on known schedules I often think to myself, if someone wanted them dead for any reason, it wouldn't be difficult to do the job. So just an honest question, would it really take much to have pulled this off?

Originally I thought whomever did this was probably insulted publicly by Charlie Kirk while at one of his shows.

I could be wrong. If not the case any individual who would take the life of another person just because they didn’t agree with his views or opinions is a loose cannon.

We now have the perpetrator in custody and as typical is a young person who’s mind has been tainted playing too many video games. It seems, and spent too much time alone with out enough parenting.

Id like to write President Donald Trump and ask for what he can do to investigate what these Violent video games influence on youth.

Without insulting anyone - like you did with your "you have bigger problems" comment - this was an extremely easy thing to pull off.

It was public knowledge that Charlie Kirk was speaking there. Location and time were known.

Charlie only used close-in security, like most people outside of government. There really aren't many private "counter-sniper" teams. I've been in the sniper world for 40-some years and am still there in a rather limited role. Government officials sometimes get counter-sniper teams, but it's rare for private people. So pretty much nobody is tasked with looking beyond handgun range.

The young shooter knew the area. The rifle was a basic hunting rifle, a Mauser in 30-06, hardly a state of the art sniper rifle. Nothing special, just a typical bolt action hunting rifle. The shot was only around 200 yards, anyone here could make it. I think he missed his head shot. The young shooter was raised in a hunting and shooting family and knew how to shoot.

Reviewing the video it's easy to discern that the shooter conceals the rifle in his trousers on the way to his firing point. He's young and lean, a pair of baggy trousers easily conceals a rifle. Our local gang-bangers where I worked often shoved a shotgun down their trousers. Can't move that knee properly, but otherwise not so hard to walk. It's also easy to see him take the rifle, wrapped in a towel, and get down from the building roof after shooting. Later he contacts his roommate telling him that he'd left the rifle behind in a wooded area, wrapped in a towel.

His roommate is a trans person. They're as left as left gets. I've read that the roommate is cooperating with law enforcement.

This would be so very easy to do, any of us could pull it off. But we don't.

There's the difference. We skilled riflemen are typically conservative, responsible, normal men who wish death upon no one. We don't want to kill. That is the key difference. We might get angry. But our conscious holds us back. Most hunters can do this sort of thing and in the past a lot of hunters were recruited as military snipers.

The job was simple. The shooter is intelligent, lean, young, and knowledgeable about rifles & shooting. No problem.

Frankly, that's scarier than some conspiracy theory about professional hits. Any dork who's decent with a rifle and can move pretty well could do something similar. That makes thousands, millions, of people who could carry out such a murder, not a handful of people who are professional hit men.

Regards, Guy

Appropriate assessment, Guy. Thank you.
