Cleaning Dies

I use Lee Precision dies. Pacesetter Series. I was wondering if there is any way to clean these dies, and if there is how would i go about doing that. :grin: :grin:

Take them apart and scrub them down with old bore brushes and cleaner/degreaser. Then oil.

How often should this be done?

If you use cast bullets, the seating die will gunk up after a few hundred rounds or so, mostly from the bullet lube.

If you keep your brass clean (tumble before resizing), the sizer die will stay pretty clean for a long time.

Jacketed bullets don't dirty up the seating die very much either.
