Have a like new Sako Finnlight coming in next week. Already have one in 30-06 that I have dialed in for 180 gr Partitions. Was thinking about running lighter bullets in this one. Maybe 150 gr E-tips, old stand bye 165 Partitions or 165 gr AB? Primary purpose black bears, elk, maybe a pig.

Don't really need the non-lead bullets, but the E-tips in a light for caliber bullet seems interesting. Good BC and good weight retention.

Going to buy some seconds from SPS and play around.

I'd be very tempted to mess around with the 125r Ballistic Tip.

If you've got one dialed in on the 180PT, I just don't see much utility in the 150-165gr class. Just not enough difference downrange to my mind.

I did shoot a pile of whitetails with the old 125 Silvertip (not the new BT based ones) and they killed deer like lightning. Might be worth pursuing.

That'll be an excellent addition to your armory. I'm having great success with the E-Tip bullets in a variety of cartridges, especially in my 30-06. I commend them to you.
