compact Leupold on .375

Just for giggles, and because I needed a bigger scope on one of my .22's, I swapped this 2.5x compact Leupold onto my .375 H&H Number One.

So far I really like it! Doubt that I'll leave it on long though, the rifle shoots great at 300 yards and I prefer a more powerful scope at that range...

If you can't see it, you can't hit it. A scope makes perfect sense to me, and that particular scope just looks good sitting there.

On my Ruger no 1 45-90 I have a fixed 3 power Leupold which seems to work really well. Of course its not a 300 yard gun so I am probably OK given the caliber. I love the clean lines of the number 1's. Of course I love the clean lines of a number of other guns also thats why I have to many
