Just started working with my 260 Rem. Need to adjust OAL for 125gr Partitions and 129gr SP but the 100gr SP is looking real good using H4350, Rem brass and Fed 210M primers. OAL 2.707" group size .201"

That is a great group, Mike. Congratulations. You have a shooter, for sure.

That looks really promising. Can't wait to see how the 125 PT's do! Scotty

Those partitions aren't very accurate are they? The 160 Partition shoots great in my 7 mag. Best thing is they are Accurate, Deadly, and Dependable.

Thank guys, the 125gr Partitions with MRP was just under and inch moving at 3034fps and the 129gr Spire points with MRP were moving 2911fps and at 7/8". I will adjust over all length and will have two other loads that are significant loads for specific applications in my 260.

What are the components assembled to make the rifle? What scope are you using? I see the golden ring.

I thought you are supposed to shoot at least a three shot group, not a two. LOL just kidding that is a great group you have there and great looking rifle. Have you done a right up on it? If so I will do a search about it.

I will not do a write up on it until I have done my load work and used it in the field on game which will be this fall or the first part of 2011. I am in the process of doing a write up on the 30-06's I have loaded for and hunted with and fixing to do and extensive load development work for the 06 again.

Mike,

Nice shooting right off the bat! It shouldn't take you long to get where you want to be. You have your self one smooth shooter, congratulations.

Thanks JD, I think it is going to be just fine.

Nicely done, Mike.

If you don't mind me asking.... why do you measure the outside of the group when the center of each shot is more appropriate since it is truly the center of bullet tip and point of impact?
