CZ457 American 22 Mag

Picked up my CZ457 American 22 mag this afternoon. The CZ gods blessed me with a beautiful dark tiger striped piece of walnut. Hope it shoots as good as it looks!

Scope will be here tomorrow. Vortex Diamondback HS 4-16x BDC.

8 oz spring for the trigger arrived today, so I need to get going on that also. Also need to check the barrel screws and action screws for proper torque. Thinking 30# for the barrel and 20-25# for the action.

An old co-worker and his son had a few CZ 22 and were impressed with them. He later bought a CZ in 6.5 Grendel because of them.

Very nice rifle. I used to shoot those .22 Magnums back in the days. It's a .22 on steroids. You should have some fun with it. Gives you the power edge over those little .22's.
