Daughter's first buck...

Thank you all. I am very proud of her and look forward to spending much more time in the stand with her.

Please congratulate your daughter on a fine buck . That should help fill the freezer for this coming winter.
I am also very happy that you encouraged another young person to partake in the great outdoors (y).

Blessings,
Dan

Congratulations to your daughter on her first buck and like you said it was a perfect shot.

She wanted me to do a skull mount on her buck, so I did mine from this year to..Ordered some matching wall plaques for them. Neither of us got a "bruiser" this year, but a great year none the less.

Way to go Dad and CONGRATS to that young lady with the awesome shot she put on that buck!

That'll make for some perfect eating.

The experience counts far more than the size of antlers.

My wife killed a small/medium size doe last Saturday, the first deer she's had a shot at in 3 years. One shot, 158 lasered yards, the deer hit the ground and that was that. Many hunters wouldn't think that was much of an accomplishment but to HER it mattered a lot. She had been very frustrated since she hadn't even had the opportunity to shoot a deer for so long and that was assuaged, plus this was her farthest shot to date. Remington Model 7 Youth, .260, 120 BT's.

Congratulations on the mounts.

Your wife is to be congratulated, as well, Ron. Excellent reports!

Congrats to your daughter and to you. The mounts look great. DrMike is correct, congrats to your wife also.
