I applied a Duracoat finish to an old 03 Springfield this weekend and boy am I pleased with the results. I have never used an air brush before and it was a lot of fun. I coated the action bolt contact surfaces and the action is smoothe as silk and a little tighter. I understand some folks use this stuff to accurize their auto slides. I am already looking for my next junker to rework.
