So which two did everyone get wrong? Never saw a Griz in the wild and only Black bears here and none of them in the brown stage.

I missed the very first track question and guessed the black bear track as a Grizzly. That was it for me. I made a comment that a couple pictures about the sex of the bear would be interesting. Pretty tough to judge just by a picture unless it's a really good one. Lots of things such as attitude, walk, build, and others help and that takes some watching. Mike and others are probably pretty good at this. Me not so much.

I got the 2nd one wrong, and the one near the end where the bear had his tail end facing the camera, going into the bush.

Whichever 2 you get wrong or 3 or none...it is a good reminder to double check your quarry before you shoot. Last thing you need is the Conservation Officer showing up at your door.

I got one wrong, it was the one where the bear had both legs up on a log and had a decent hump. Knew I hit the wrong button when I submitted, but ah well. Really cool quiz though. Great pictures. I haven't seen a grizzly in the wild since when I was in BC in 1995 but I hope to change that in the next few years!

Well I took the exam and got a 93%, 14 out of 15 correct.
Got the certificate emailed to me. Guess I am ready to go hunt a grizzly bear.
Now, should I choose the 338 RUM,35 Whelen, 416 Wby or the 45-70?
Maybe I need a new rifle? :mrgreen:

Howard, I know there are bears in LA. Never saw one in TX, that is true. There sure are plenty of bears around here.

JD what do you mean you might need a new rifle :shock:! We all say you absolutely need a new rifle and it is never about Need it is about wanting :mrgreen:.
