Enough is Enough?

The powder is actually $22.95. The bullets are from 2015 so they are pretty cheap too.

Those .458 regular ballistic tip 300 grain are really rare now. You can find the ballistic silvertips but not the regular copper ones anymore. I have a few of them as well but have more of the black ballistic tipped ones.

Loaded up some 45-70 today.
Used some old Remington primers at $0.80/ 100
and H322 at $27.95. Bullets were Nosler 300 gr BST from 12/15. Some pretty cheap reloads.
I wish would have bought more of those 300gr silver tips from SPS. At the time they were $11 for 50.

I seem to recall that and that's when I bought a bunch of them
FWIW, I shot the 200 yard gong and the Liberty Cowbell at 250 yards today. Pretty spot on too.

Same gun shop as the 415 bull; really good prices on powder compared to what I’m seeing on line. No RL 17 or 26 but plenty of Retumbo and H1000.
Those prices are very reasonable compare to what I see locally. I’ve surrendered to finding RL-17&26. Luckily I still have quite a stock of RL-26 with N560 to back it up.

I've been keeping tabs on prices like the rest of you I imagine. Prices certainly have taken another big jump. Locally things like Varget, H4350, etc are running $50-$52. The IMR powders went crazy. $65 seems to be the norm for most of them.

I haven't been buying, been using what I got. I did buy 1 lb of Accurate 2230 recently as I wanted to try it in something and it was priced at $39.95. Didn't get to try it yet. If it works out I may go get some more at that price.

This 3.1% inflation that they're touting on everything doesn't compute. I guess I went to the wrong school for math and am just a big dummy. Don't believe your lying eyes is what I'm being told to gag down.
