Those were the days! And about all we have are memories of those halcyon days of yore. The powder is actually $22.95. The bullets are from 2015 so they are pretty cheap too.

Those .458 regular ballistic tip 300 grain are really rare now. You can find the ballistic silvertips but not the regular copper ones anymore. I have a few of them as well but have more of the black ballistic tipped ones. The powder is actually $22.95. The bullets are from 2015 so they are pretty cheap too.

I wish would have bought more of those 300gr silver tips from SPS. At the time they were $11 for 50.Loaded up some 45-70 today.
Used some old Remington primers at $0.80/ 100
and H322 at $27.95. Bullets were Nosler 300 gr BST from 12/15. Some pretty cheap reloads.
I seem to recall that and that's when I bought a bunch of themI wish would have bought more of those 300gr silver tips from SPS. At the time they were $11 for 50.
At those prices, I'd stock up. It's going to get worse before it gets better.Same gun shop as the 415 bull; really good prices on powder compared to what I’m seeing on line. No RL 17 or 26 but plenty of Retumbo and H1000.
Better than what I see. Dan.Same gun shop as the 415 bull; really good prices on powder compared to what I’m seeing on line. No RL 17 or 26 but plenty of Retumbo and H1000.
Those prices are very reasonable compare to what I see locally. I’ve surrendered to finding RL-17&26. Luckily I still have quite a stock of RL-26 with N560 to back it up.Same gun shop as the 415 bull; really good prices on powder compared to what I’m seeing on line. No RL 17 or 26 but plenty of Retumbo and H1000.
Haven’t seen that stuff in quite awhile.Anybody seen CFE 223 lately? Whats it going for? CL
