Working a lot here lately and not really getting to try some new things. Had some of the 140 nosler cc left over from a project awhile back. Decided to see how they would do. I chose the 42 grain charge of RL16 based on several 140 grain projectiles in my rifle, this is usually around 1 1/2 grains below max with hornady brass in my rifle. I know one thing I really like about this bullet. The ogive is very forward on the bullet, so even at .005” jump I could still feed fine through the magazine with the COL at 2.813”. I shot two groups at each COL, at .005”, .010”, and .025”. Overall very happy with the performance for a thrown together load. Believe I’ll stick with the .010” jump for now.
