I was looking at a .243 that I have had for 20 years and my mom owned it before me. It is a Finnwolf .243, decent shape, could use some work on the stock but the rest is great. Redfield 4x9 scope. My question is, Does anyone have a ballpark clue on what it might be worth? I have no plan on selling it, just curious. The serial number is 1721. Thanks in advance for any help.

I have a 98% (only because I fired it once) fin in 308 and I would not let it go for less than 1200.
That should give you a ballpark figure.

The 308's are worth more than the 243. At least in my area. I see a lot more 243 for sale than the 308 and typically see a price tag in the 1700.00 range..
