My good friend's son, Ketih was fortunate to draw a limited entry elk tag on the Utah Wasatch unit this year. After blowing the stock on this big 6x6 bull we quickly setup hoping for a shot as the bull worked his cows out of the bottom and up the other side of the canyon. The cows cleared while the bull hung up in the bottom. A few minutes later the bull made his move. We stopped the bull with a cow call and Keith put a 180 grain Nosler AccuBond through him from a Christensen Arms .300 Remington Ultra Mag. Keith's dad, Larry was there to experience his son's first successful elk hunt.
Thanks, Nosler.
