I'd like to load some ammo for a Marlin lever gun in .35 Remington, I've got dies and brass but I'm lacking bullets. Looking for 50-100 200 grain Remington Core Lokts or I might be interested in other 200 grain round nose bullets.

Good luck buddy! I'm hoarding the few I've got. They are really something in my Marlin.

It took me awhile to find brass and I figured after that, bullets would be easy. Who would have guessed that 200 grain round nose .35's are so tough to come by.

I'm with ya. the good thing is the 200 grains RN's made by Hornady, Sierra, Hawk, others are all really good at 35 Remington speeds. Another bullet to look for is the 180 Speer FP. I have heard excellent things about that bullet and see it around fairly often.

There are some excellent - and eye opening - bullet tests of 35 Rem bullets over on the Marlin forum. Suffice it to say that the two offerings from Speer (180, 220) and the 200gr from Remington are "the" bullets for the 35 Rem. I just trimmed and chamfered a bunch of cases this morning so I can load some up and test in the near future.

Ya want to have some fun with the 35 Rem load up some pistol bullets in it using loads for TC Contender and have fun.

I think that is the perfect bullet for the 35 Remington, congratulations.

Would you still wanna get rid of that 257 Roberts brass?
It isn't so much that I was looking to get rid of it, more like I was willing to give it up for something I wanted more. If you are wanting to work a trade for it, PM me and maybe we can work something out.
