The female hocky teams got Gold and Silver at the Winter Games this year.

Both teams also had First Nation females on their team

Congratulations to both teams, well done.

I played a bit of pond hockey with the boys and it is far more physical than some realize

You go, girl! I've never put on a pair of ice skates in my life. I walked on a frozen pond once.

Yes way to go Ladies!
No skates of any type for me. I learned at a young age that I couldn't stay on my feet with roller skates strapped on my shoes. As for ice I have fallen on that a few times also with out skates and ended up in the Hospital

I loved roller skating big time. How much? Went every night over a several year period and did the double sessions on weekends. Never could get the hang of ice skate though. A huge high five for the ladies of the hockey teams.
