Was wondering if anyone has sent a fired piece of brass in and ordered a set of the Hornady Custom Dies that are supposedly made to the dimensions of the fired brass. If so what did you think of them?
I have a number of sets of custom dies, mostly from Redding, made for various wildcat rounds. You don't need them for factory rounds. They work just like any regular dies.Rick.
I love Hornady dies. I load my most accurate ammo with them. But Rick is right - if you're shooting something standard, no sense in spending $150 for a set of dies when $35 will do the trick.
