Sierra #8615 250 gr FPJ 44 caliber hand gun bullets like everyone else but when I can'ts find them they are hard to find

They are some super bullets out of the old 444. What are you loading them in Terry?

Scott If you ever test these at 1400 fps (simulating 200 yard 444 hits) let me know PLZ

You'll be the first, well, you all will know right off the bat!

If I knew what powder I could run to get them down that low, I might give it a whirl sooner.. I don't have any 2400 on hand, or I would probably do it soon.

Are you worried they won't open at all Fotis? Just wondering, but with that big flat nose, I am betting whatever you hit would still bleed out pretty quick. Still a 44 caliber hole without any expansion. As the old Dr. says, it's a fair bit o mass...

Thought so! LOL

I might be able to load some up tomorrow. I will see if I can find some jugs to toss them into. Got plenty of them and really like them in the 444. Plain old Nosler JHP's work great in the revolvers.

Looks like 24 / 24.5 should be right to get the speed were looking for.
