Local store had three 1# containers.
I bought two, as the limit is two containers, and will load it up in the next month or so. I ain't being greedy, and can use what I bought, but would've bought the third container if they had let me.
Now I just need to find some .22LR Hollowpoint loads.

Or have someone else get it for you. All we have around here is either baby powder or baking powder and I can't find data for either one.

Things must be a little better around here. Was in a shop Monday and they had probably 50k of cci400 small rifle primers, cfe223,varget, imr & hodgdon 4831, 4350, and 4895 as well as several others. I was shocked.

I went into a local gun store last week and they had just received 4000 small pistol primers. They let me buy 400. Then I went into the hospital before I could get back but I have 900 now. That will hold me for awhile.

CCI small rifle primers. Hens teeth over here. If I could figure out a way to get it from there to here.

That is the issue with the Hazardous Material permit. I have 700 CCI small rifle primers and only 1 small rifle to use them in. Too bad that they can't be traded more easily.

Not only Haz Mat fees, shipping cost will be very high. USPS will not ship so its Fed Ex or UPS. Might cost more then the primers.

IMR 4350 is my go to powder it works well in so many different calibres

Blessings,
Dan

It is a pain to load compared to some other offerings, but covers a wide spectrum of usefulness. I always have imr4350,4831, and h4895 on hand.

I use IMR4350 in: the .257 Roberts, .270 Win, .30-06, 7mm Mag and 9.3x74R. It is the one powder that I could not live without.

I'm using IMR 4350 in my 25/06 but thinking of trying it in my .300 Win Mag.

I've leaned towards using H4831 and RX 22 for the 180 grain and heavier bullets. What say you all about using IMR 4350 for these bullets? Thoughts, opinions, welcome.

4350 is a great one for the 300 Win Mag and 180's. I know a few on here have done well with it.

Thanks!!

I'll give it a go.

Vince, I used IMR 4350 in my .25-06 for the first couple of years. It is not a bad powder, it just is not the best powder for bullets above 100 grains in that overbore case.

However, it is a very good powder for the .300 Mags. and I have used it in the .308 Norma, .300 H&H and .300 WSM with good results. I have never owned a .300 Win Mag and can not help you there but I have several friends who load IMR 4350 for the .300 WM and they seem to be happy with it.
