Anybody put in for a nonresident Kansas deer tag? Application period is this month...

I might be lucky enough to hunt mule deer and elk in Wyoming in October, then head to Kansas for whitetail in November.

And who knows, I might get a rifle out in North Dakota. Anyone on here know of a lead in north central ND? I'll be at Minot starting this summer. Looking forward to it!

Wish I could join you in my natal state, Joel! Sure would be fun to hunt KS once again (for something other than squirrels and opossums).

Cool. You might run into a big ol' buck in Kansas... I hear good things about deer in North Dakota, but never hunted there.

I put in for deer in Kansas and permits went up from $328 in 2015, to $442 this year, plus the regular $97 non res licence.............. rifle season is first 10 days of December.
We used to hunt the Powder River country in east MT, fired at a few that never stoped running until they were in N.D.!

It has been years since I hunted ND for archery deer in Slope County, sw ND. Did not tag one but had a great time with a local rancher/guide. Saw lots of animals too.. If you can hook up with some locals that should help with access to private land and add to the pleasure of the hunt. ND does publish Plots Maps which show the location of all land open to hunting. I think they are put out by Fish & Game.
I have not hunted Kansas. Thanks for your Service and Good luck..! Rol
