Laptop for QL

I want a new windows based laptop to run 3 different pieces of software, QL being the primary.

I have an external drive, so I really don't think I need the expense of an internal drive.

I honestly don't know if I need a HDD or a SSD drive, I would like it to have the best CPU and plenty of RAM.

I haven't looked at an actual new laptop in years. Do I pony up and order a feature rich version or buy one of the packaged models at the local electronics store?

Other than these three pieces of software and maybe updates to the software, that is the only uses it will see.

I have had great luck with Dell Latitude over the last 15 years. The last three I bought used on CL.

I have QL on an old desktop that I swapped out the HDD to a SSD. SSD is the way to go.

I use a laptop and a VERY big monitor for my old eyes. I use Excel for records and making drop charts etc.
