I have a DPMS 260 coming in a month or so so I want to get some loads ready.

On hand I have 130gr AB's and H4350 and Varget.

Any info/loads would be great.

Thanks,
Ron

If you want to stick to powders on hand go with the H4350. My 260s like R19 with most bullet weights of 120 & up, or you might try something a tad slower like the 4831s or R22 with the 129-140gr.

Check out the Hodgdon site for some loads with your to available powders. Usually they get you in the 90% ballpark with starting and max loads. Also, I am sure if you ask, you may be able to get Pop of Mike to run a quick load for your available components. Scotty

Try the follow charges:

Bullet : .264, 130, Nosler AccuBond 56902
Useable Case Capaci: 46.056 grain H2O = 2.990 cm³
Cartridge O.A.L. L6: 2.800 inch = 71.12 mm
Barrel Length : 22.0 inch = 558.8 mm
Powder : Hodgdon H4350

Predicted data by increasing and decreasing the given charge,
incremented in steps of 2.0% of nominal charge.
CAUTION: Figures exceed maximum and minimum recommended loads !

As always, start low and work up slow. Note the maximum projected loads.

I've never used any of the poweder you have out of either of my bolt .260's
I use a lot of H414 with the 130gr Accubonds though - That would make for some fast meetering powder depending on your press etc that you plan on using.
