Low speed bullet tests with the ABLR?

Anybody try the ABLR at less than 1500fps? I'd like to find out their terminal performance at lower speeds. I'm thinking of loading up some rounds for my 7-08 and 308 using Trailboss and running them through the jugs. I think I can get down to 13-1500fps and then shoot them. This should give me an idea how they may perform way out there.

A little off topic but I used TB to test noslers 3030 ballistic tip at 1400 fps. I did it cause it was extremely accurate in my marlin...tossed 5 shots under an inch. I was able to site in so that the 3rd hash mark of my 2-7 Burris had me ringing a gong at 300.
My results proved to me the bullet would open fine...at least on a water jug...at 300.

Thanks Brian - Doesn't look like they opened at that speed. I'd like to try them at 12-1500fps, especially the .284 ones. Time to break out the 7-08!

Your welcome! I stopped testing since I know they will open up at my limit of 700 yards with the 300 RUM.
