One just popped up for sale in 256 Win Mag. Interesting little rifle and cartridge I hadn't heard of before. Would be really cool to add to a quarter bore collection IF it had a better price tag

Oh- that would be a fun truck/kitchen door/walk around gun! I think I had my hands on one in 22Mag once. Really wanted that rifle, but didnt have the funds or a desire to sell somthing to pay for it. This would be better! CL

I have one, but I like my rechambered Marlin 1994 ( 25-20 to 256 WM) better.

That would be a fun 6 shooter cartridge (possibly 8).

Is that a custom stock on your Model 62? What I remember was that the stocks where much more plain. Regardless they are a cool rifle. If you buy it, please post a follow-up on how it shoots.
