So I went out to the range this morning as it was relatively cool. Surprised how many old guys were there. In any event I wanted to simply confirm my 300 yard dope on my 275 Rigby and my 300HH. Simple enough one would think. Except there was a lot of good bull**** going on. I had dialed 2moa on the 300 HH and then there was another cease fire. Then some mor distraction then back to a hot range. Fired two, what the hell? Then realized I had doubled down on my come ups. Would have been a dandy 5shot group at 300. It’s ok for a 3 shot group.
Fired a 3 shot group at 300 with the 275 Rigby using the 1.5 x 5 Leupold. That rifle just gets too warm too fast. Looks like it’s ready as well.

At 300 yds that looks good to me. As for the distraction and more clicks than intended I did something somewhat similar yesterday myself. Was sighting my Sako 308 win with the 125gr AB load and made an adjustment , shot, wasn't quite enough so instead of shooting another shot to make sure I made another adjustment. That shot was well to the right. I knew better but did it anyway. Good reminder to me.
