I have been offered a job in Gilbert AZ (outside Phoenix) doing the same thing I am doing here....... spacecraft controller (I fly satellites). Anyway, fill me in as far as hunting opportunities go. Big game, varmints, small game and fishing!!!!
Place looks great but I am not sure.....
Thanx guys

Hey, PoP let's go bear hunting, that is cool, you will love Arizona. I am here at Jerry's GB300wm and we are having a ball and will start hunting tomorrow.

Well I do not know if it will materialize yet.

POP,
Arizona is a great place to live. I live in Flagstaff, which is about 2 hours north of Phoenix. Elevation is 7000 feet and we average 100+ inches of snow. Phoenix is not my kind of place... too hot and too many people. Drawing tags can be tough depending on what you want to hunt. If you want to fill the freezer with elk meat, cow tags are not hard to come by. If you want to kill a huge bull, expect 10-15% drawing odds. If you want to kill a huge mule deer, expect less than 5% on the Strip and Kaibab. Many areas have much better odds if you just want to hunt. Az has good Coues whitetail hunting, none of those in WY!!! Antelope tags are very hard to draw, 1-2% in alot of areas. Arizona uses bonus points... the more you have, the higher your odds.
Hope this helps,

Do not think it's going to happen...
