Has anyone used one of these heaters? I'm looking too possibly get one to use in my Cabela's Alaskan guide tent to knock the chill off later in the year when it gets colder. I did read that a propane tank only last 3-4 hours?

I have used them before. They work great and love the oxygen sensor shut off

I have the "big" buddy version that uses two 1lb canisters or like I do and set it up on a bulk tank. It is perfect for when I don't want to bring the woodstove or weather isn't blowing snow. If you feed it bottles you better buy a case!

Depending on the temperatures at night, this may not be enough to keep the chill off, and as has been stated, you will need to change out the cylinders more often than you may want (I hate getting up in the middle of the night). We use a 20 lb cylinder with this unit for ice fishing instead of 1lb bottled gas. It isn't considered for a wall tent heater when we are in the western states to hunt after the middle of October.
