Got my rifle ( 22-250 )from Wisconsin about a month ago and worked up 8 loads with H-380 pushing a 40 gr Nosler Ballistic tip . The tightest group was .144" at 39.5 grains...Sweet !!! ,, loaded up 350 rounds and looking to get more done up real soon so i can have a back up to my Ruger M-77 220 Swift ...

Nice rifle. Looks like you have a great shooter. Never had a 204, but it would be a great addition to my 22-250. Scotty

I guess I just thought it was. Looking at the rifle now, it has a tang safety. Jumped the gun too quickly. Scotty

Whatever the cartridge, it is producing some tight groups that would make any rifleman happy.

Ok ,, here's some of my other Varmit rifle's

I love the Ruger's !

Those are some nice looking Rugers you got there. Shooting as tight as group as you say I'm not sure if that would be my back up. WOW

You just have to love the Swift. The 22-250 doesn't have any flies on it. Some neat rifles there, pathfinder82.

i have the same .220 swift thatyou have there pathfinder, even looks like the old redfield scope thats on mine 8)

Never had but one Ruger & it was in 6mm. It was a very well built gun and a good shooting gun for a mid 70s version ..... 5/8" groups. The load I used was 85 gr Speer boat tailed, 30 gr 3031 powder, Winchester primers and I don't remember which cases.
