I have Big Game powder and Remington brass, WLRM primers. Loading for a Tikka T3 (22 7/16" barrel) so I'll be constrained by mag length.

Introduce your brother to the 150 gr ABLR. With a BC of .611 and predictable on game results, its
a fantastic choice for the 7mm-08.

I've read that the BC of these bullets is overstated. Good, but not as high as advertised.

Brian Litz , from berger bullets , tested the bc of the ABLR bullets the BC is accurate , IF you are using the correct twist barrel . I'll see if I can find that thread on another forum .
BC data is not accurate. It's bullet stability that is a function of twist rate. BC, according to Litz, is overstated.
I read the whole thread. The 150 is close but not .611
