New packaging - CCI 250 Magnum large rifle primers

Package just arrived, and opened the box expecting to see the blue CCI 250 Magnum primers in the blue original box but it came in black and white. It's my first. Made a quick call to 2 sources and they said its the same product. A brick will last me while.

I picked up a couple bricks of small rifle primers a couple months back and they have the same look

I guess I'll find out when my 2k of 250's come in? As long as they work like the blue packaging, I don't mind the color.

Well, if they came in a chartreuse box, I might hesitate. Or aqua, I don't like aqua. Nondescript packaging is okay.

Yup, as long as the burn intensity is similar and the same product. One way to find out,,,,

Kind of like the less expensive "fleet" pickups offered by the automotive industry. Not as purty, but under the skin, the same truck.

I ordered today and it shipped out today from armor ally. The last time I ordered from them it was 2 days before shipment went out. That's still good!

Natchez had some Federal large rifle Magnum primers today, ordered a brick, and its free hazmat.

If that was the case, it should have been 50% cheaper.

I wouldn’t care if they wrap them in lace if they would come back down to about $50/1000

I imagine it’s a cost saving measure. They are maximizing profits. Black and white packaging seems like it would cost less than color graphics. I could be wrong.

I think these were supposed to be sold ammunition manufacturers but with the market conditions, they are selling to open market at a higher profit

At that price they should be naked........well that might cost more
