I received my tricked out 700 remington last month.300 RUM, Custom carbon fiber stock with solid carbon bedding block Limbsaver recoil pad, dipped in camo,26'' shilen select match grade barrell liner with carbon wrap.Bolt has been lightened and tefloned and the factory pro-mark trigger has been worked on. It has a Swarovkski Z3 3-10x42 on it. So far I have 70 rounds through the gun. It shoots exceptionally well. Barnes 130 gr TTSX and RL 22, 150 Nosler B-tips and Retumbo,168gr Barnes TTSX and Retumbo, both 180 gr AccuBond and B-tips with Retumbo. The only bullet I can not get to group as good as these others is the 150TTSX. I have tried RL22,Retumbo,H1000 and even IMR4350. I tried different seating depths with the retumbo only. I'm going to try some 180 TTSX as well.Lot's of fun.Anyways I had to share this and included some photos

Good looking rifle, and it certainly sounds as if it is meeting or exceeding expectations. Good show. Thanks for sharing.

This rifle will be used for all big game species and varmints we have here in Sask.It is the only rifle I have since I passed my STW down to my son last fall. The rifle as shown in the photo's weighs 7.4lbs on my postal scale.

Wow! 7.4# in a 300 RUM. That will give a whole new meaning to the term "bump the shoulder."

Yeah, I imagine it won't be hard to tell when it goes off!

I've had two other people shoot this rifle and they can not believe how pleasant the rifle is to shoot. It must be the combination of the Limbsaver recoil pad and design of the carbon stock.I was a little concerned myself at first but it shoots so nice it just beggs to be shot more often. Go figure.
