Took some rifles out for load development! I was out there for 6 hours. Shot many different loads but the following where the stars!

358 BLR---- 220 Speer at 2400 fps

Stephan shot for the first time his 300 Win Mag Tikka with Winchester PP 180 gr at just over 3000 fps This is 9 shots!

My 340 Bee did great with the factory 200 gr Hornady at 3120 fps

Also shot the 210 PT at 3110 fps with IMR7828

My 30-06 Savage faired nicely with 180 BTs at 2850 fps. As you can see there are 3 bullets together and a lone one up high, Due to the amount of shooting I lost count so even hough I think the bottom 3 are the group (2 in 1 hole) I included the top as well just to be safe.

Yup pretty pleased!

All excellent, without a doubt. I'd be tickled to the point of being breathless with that group from the .358 or from the .300 Win Mag. Stephan is becoming a fine rifleman, without a doubt. A chip off the ol' block, I'd say! (y)

After 20 some days of fog, winter, or rain... Today was a welcome sight. And I got to spend it sleeping off the night shift!

Very nice Fotis. That Tikka 300 Win is pretty interesting...

Great shooting. I'm glad you 340 liked the 210. That would be a crusher.

Thank you Scott but you know I hate the 2 and 1 even they are less than 3/4 MOA apart......
Still working on it!

Holy Crap! Fotis!
That's really nice groups you and your son got there.
Stephan is a chip off the old block! He has a great teacher!

Finally found the board you were talking about! LOL
Did you go to our mutual friends range and get those amazing groups?!?

Can't wait to go shooting and show y'all the groups i get!
I've got several rifles that need final sighting in, and can't wait to do it!

Fotis,

That is some fine shooting. They are all tack drivers for sure.

That little blr is stacking them. What powder you running with the 220's? My .358 is liking a bunch of 3031 with the 220 Speer.

Fotis,
Nice shooting buddy. I am really interested in your 30-06 load with the 180 bt can you share the recipe? I'm attempting to get to the range soon to try out 3 different powders curious to what you loaded up.

IMR 3031 behind 220 grain Speer FN or behind the 200 grain TSX always performed well in my BLR.

I'd imagine shortening up those 210's would have you in business with your 340 Fotis. That sorta load deserves some time up on the mountain this Fall. That poor old elk would never know what hit him.

Fair to middling shooting for 10 meters. :)

Fotis, you sure know how to tease a old guy. I wish I could shoot like that !!
That is some fine shooting my friend and that son of yours is a chip off the old block :)!
Thank you for the range report and the photos (y).

Blessings,
Dan

Dang Fotis, much closer and you would have set the targets on fire and wouldn't have had anything to show us.
Good shooting Buddy. (y)
